We're looking for full-time and part-time campaign interns!

Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting research and other special projects for the campaign
  • Staffing the candidate at events, meetings and community gatherings
  • Writing letters, drafting press materials and other communications
  • Attending club and community events/meetings
  • Compiling news clips
  • Directing phone traffic, press questions and concerns to appropriate staff
  • Performing general office tasks (filing, entering data, scanning, photocopying, etc.)

Desirable qualifications include:

  • An interest in campaigns, communications and politics
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work weekends and evenings
  • Experience using PC computers, Microsoft Office, and database programs
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Having a positive and high-energy attitude is a must!

Internship positions are an excellent opportunity for exposure and experience if you are interested in campaigns/politics, community engagement, communications, and public service.

Interns work in close collaboration with the campaign staff. All internships are unpaid.

Wendy GreuelWendy Greuel is running for Mayor to get our city back on track.

As our City Controller, Wendy Greuel is the city’s chief auditor and fiscal watchdog - and she's identified $160 million in wasteful spending, fraudulent activity, and abuse of city resources.

On the City Council, Wendy helped lead tax reform to help small businesses and focused on getting the job done on basic city services.

Wendy is a lifelong Angeleno and the only candidate for Mayor with a child in our public schools. As a deputy to Mayor Tom Bradley, Wendy was a leader in the creation of LA’s BEST, our nationally-recognized afterschool program.
