As my campaign picks up momentum and I talk to Angelenos across our great city, I’ve heard this more than a few times: In our city's long and rich history, there has never been a woman elected as Mayor.
With your help, I’m hoping to change that.
Today we’re announcing Women with Wendy, a grassroots group aiming to engage, energize, and mobilize women voters in every part of our city.
The women supporting me are community leaders, grassroots activists, professionals, students, organizers, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, and partners; and they – you – will be advisors to my campaign and help lead the way to victory.
